Weekly recap Questions of the Day. Week of Apr 25-29.
I hope you enjoyed this week's Questions of the Day and his responses. By way of reminder, here are the questions again.
Question of the Day #359 ’I am an eye care specialist working in a community practice. I know that UV light is part of the process that forms cataracts and some of my colleagues advise patients with early cataracts to have photochromic spectacle lenses to slow down the cataract development process. Do photochromic lenses slow down the cataract development process.
Question of the Day #360 ’I am an eye care specialist working in community practice. I know that using thinner and lighter lenses can help make glasses look nicer and feel lighter but I’m not sure which refractive index to recommend for which prescription. I want to make sure I don’t use a refractive index that is unnecessarily high. Can you help?
